Lasloods, Vlissingen (2015)

If Paradise Is Half As Nice #4 was the first of two separate editions presented in 2015. For this edition, the group was invited by the Cultuurwerf Vlissingen to the city of Vlissingen, in the Netherlands, to undertake the project at the De Lasloods site. The participating artists at the first event of 2015 were Daan Botlek, Pim Palsgraaf, Willem Besselink, Ties Ten Bosch, Jordy Walker, Onno Poiesz, Aletta de Jong, Toine Klaassen and Regina Kelaita. In addition, Historian Guus Vreeburg and architect Jos Jobse hosted lectures about the history and the future of the building. It was the first edition in which the group had a permission to work at the building. It was also the first time the artists lived on site for the duration for the project. The opening weekend hosted an estimated 700 visitors.
